A copy of Hambledon & Denmead was recently purchased by a lovely lady in France.

This is what she e-mailed once she received and reviewed the book –

a real bargain at only £5 plus postage.

Just to let you know that the book arrived today and I am thrilled with it. There are no photos of my ancestors but it gives me an excellent idea of what the area was like when they lived there and some of the people they would have known. My great-grandfather Charles Coster was quite a character and was often up in front of the magistrate for one thing and another, being drunk in charge of a horse and cart, poaching, having a dog without a licence etc. I am trying to write about his life and the book will really help put it into context. Many thanks. Jill

Many, many thanks to Terri Bryant for all her work in helping develop the Platinum Jubilee Fitness Trail to mark the Queen’s Jubilee in 2022.

More news and details to follow later in 2022!

Please scroll through the slide show below to explore the merchandise we have to offer.
